What's the difference between Reward Mode and Free Mode?

In Reward Mode, you pay a reward (minimum $10) that is distributed among testers who complete the 14 days. In Free Mode, you pay nothing but commit to testing other developers' apps.

How is tester activity verified?

Testers must upload a daily video scrolling through the app showing their device's date and time. Every 24 hours they must upload a new video. The developer reviews and approves it.

What happens if a tester doesn't comply?

Testers who don't register activity for more than 3 days are automatically expelled. If they accumulate 3 expulsions, their account is suspended.

Do I need a Google Group?

Yes. For Google Play's Closed Testing, testers must join a Google Group to download the app. This is a Google Play requirement.

How is the reward distributed?

The total reward is divided among testers who successfully complete the 14 days of testing. It's automatically credited to their internal wallet.

How do I withdraw my earnings as a tester?

Earned credits accumulate in your internal wallet. As soon as you complete a test (from $0.45) you can withdraw to your PayPal account from the Payments section.

What behaviors are prohibited?

It is prohibited to generate fake reviews, use bots or fake accounts, register activity without using the app, create multiple accounts to evade suspensions, and any action that violates Google Play policies.

How does the reputation system work?

Testers have a reputation score that increases with successful testing completions and decreases with expulsions. Three expulsions result in permanent account suspension.

Is my data secure?
